Same with me! but my mum takes me more srsly now b/c i've shown her i can responsible. If u word it like, "I wanna make money over the summer but idk where to start," she'll offer chores for money, u just gotta use reverse psychology like that  cos she doesn't want u to leave the nest right?
and if she doesn't offer u a solution, then u can b like "u don't let me go out anyways" and "then how can i make my own money to buy u christmas and birthday presents?"

omg ahahaha that's a nice way of doing things, but if I wanted to work my mom would probably allow me to do so. Although we are on welfare so I'm not sure how my income will effect that, although if I was working it'd just be over summer. I think my parents want me to get out more, BUT they won't let me go anywhere ASDFGHJKL 
I usually don't have to worry about money because sometimes my mom or dad will come into the room randomly and band me money
