christmas was the 1 day out of 365 that my father was willing to focus on us, focus on his family and be nice to us rather than bossing us around. this was the 1 day a year we were allowed to laugh, scream and cry without getting yelled at. it was the 1 day where we were all gathered as a family.

but those 1 or 2 days are everything to me. the only times i had a father.
