Maybe. If so then that's okay. It still makes me sad that I didn't atleast get to see it.

Salem wrote:"I'm sorry that you think I have an attitude" with everything that followed is having an attitude, let alone italicising words for emphasis and the sarcasm that clearly comes through

in terms of visibility, unless a mass message is sent out on vp the most visible a forum will get will be being on the front page under "hot topics" which, if you're active on vp you'll notice and mby click on when you log in. this forum was in that box, almost always in the top spot from the start to the end of this hunt. the title of the forum is short enough to be fully seen and anything that starts with ET: or SMT: is always an instant draw for anyone who regularly enters dress up comps/raffles etc so I don't really get what you mean by it not being visible?? if you're not active enough to know that a thread like that would be something to pay attention to if you're interested in codes/getting new clothing then ? that's an issue for you and your unfamiliarity with the site, it's not something laboratory or moss could have done any better. the only thing you can do in situations like that is spend more time on here and try to learn more abt it as you go, when I came back after a period of inactivity I sucked at finding/even knowing where to begin looking for codes but that's not the case any more. natural progression u know ??
I am not being sarcastic. And I guess my individuality does have a set path of negative emotions towards this. Emphasis is important cause I tend to be misunderstood if I don't emphesize.

Also again I haven't seen it anywhere on the front page, so maybe it just shows for certain people. I don't know, but I have not seen it there
it shows up for everyone so imo sounds like you weren't sure what to look for, which is fine but just. own up to that instead of attacking the people who made the event like it's something they should take ownership for. code hunts have notoriously been more difficult than this one and this time around most people found it easier/more enjoyable what with both moss and lab being active in the thread and actually getting lots of hints.
also something you said earlier abt it being unfair is a bit ??? because really if people aren't active enough to know what to be looking for then it's pretty likely whatever they claim will end up stuck in their wardrobe unusable by others bc they lost interest. I definitely like the fact that it's an actual hunt and not a first come first served type of thing because it makes sense that those who know the most abt the site/have invested more time and understanding into it have a higher chance of getting the benefits of that so to speak.

I missed the codes myself, so at least the 50 people who claimed the codes saw it, including me who didn't. Lab and moss couldn't have done much else, than being active which it seems they were.

There is always gonna be someone who missed it for what ever reasons, it always sucks. But without events like these, the site sure would be 10 times more boring.

lemme quote ur reply to moss:
"Oof yeah no. I cannot relate to the hints at all so I guess you only helped people who can understand where those hints relate "
as other ppl have already pointed out, u have to understand the game-layout and also how et generally organizes these hunts - so maybe just seeing it once without getting to claim is good enough for new players.
the organizers have no obligation to specifically help you to get the codes fast enough, heck they don't even have to give out hints if they don't want to. So instead of being passive-aggressive (look above to the quote) u could've either asked nicely for more specific hints (for you, since others already understood the previous hints) or just let this code hunt slide and get the ones next time with a little more luck and knowledge on ur side.
coming back to ur "new players lose interest" message - well new players have to get used to the site first, so saying "no" to what I have said is objectively wrong and also uselessly passive-aggressive 😃

ok but honestly i was here for it all and it was ?? always on the front page what are you on about. and theres no ´thinking´ you have an attitude, because you obviously do have one. at least own up to it. you dont have to be an ass about it, just say you find it difficult and come with constructive critisism instead.
its not their fault you dont know this site enough to figure out the codes. while i know it sucks, most of us have been there ourselves. just check around more, learn a bit and then maybe next time youll get it. until then, dont come at them for you not understanding. jeez

That is one of the reasons why this site is slowly pushing the interest of newer people away tho.

Also I am very sorry that you think I am being "that" about it, but I am just stating my opinion. also I still found moss to be pretty rude and their comment still did hurt me.
And I've realised We All have an attitude. And it is not a bad thing.
the friday and sunday codes are fairly easy to find, so the newer ones do get the codes, esp since its a very nice thread explaining for the new users. no new users will know everything from the get-go, but thats not something thats unique for this site. its like that with anything and everything in life.
its also called a hunt, which is sort of self-explanatory.
As for the other part, you werent just stating an opinion, i think we both know that. i get youre frustrated but there is really no reason to push that onto other people. they tried their best, and imo did a very good job.

yes, we all have an attitude, but you coudlve left that out in the first place and it probs wouldve gone a lot better. you being aggressive wont make people want to listen, its just rude and uncalled for.

I am not attacking, or atleast not trying to. I, again, am sorry if it seems that way.
The only part that I can see as attack, was me calling moss out where they said "or smart enough to ask" That's the part I got offended at because it has very little to do with being smart or not, I already have enough struggles with that, I don't need to be indirectly called stupid, it was probably just a bad choice of words on their part, but it still upset me.
And again with the unfair part, It's not directed at this thread in particular, calm down. It is more like directed towards the morality of limited codes as a whole. I just want everyone- both new and old to have a chance because I don't like the unfairdness of real life to follow into some fictional online game.
I also like that it's a hunt- I am not complaining about that. It's just the fact that It's difficult to find the information in time that bugs me. Nothing else.

If possible inactivity is a problem.
Then just make it so that those who are unactive for too long gets deleted and have their items go on auction or just out to random other people who don't have the items and want them like they do with people who have died. I've seen other websites do that so why can't this?
