Am I the only one that, even though my parents always talked about Santa bringing presents, I didn't believe in him for all that long? I guess that's what I get for being born in the early 2000's, I started using the internet when I was about 5, so I could read about Santa not being real. Though I mostly just got it from common sense -- Santa entered houses through a chimney, right? Hotels don't have fireplaces or a chimney, and I stayed at a hotel for the greater portion of my life. But I loved Christmas nonetheless! When I lived in the hotel I always got around 5-6 presents on Christmas. I even once got a toy crib and toy baby one Christmas, and an art easel/chalk board combo on another Christmas.
2013 and up weren't nearly as magical, though getting an actual real tree as the Christmas tree was nice. I got around 2-3 presents, but they were still nice presents! This year we probably won't even get a tree, presents, or dinner, we're very low on money. Ah well, I'll just spend my next "paycheck" (I babysit my little brother and get paid about 52 cents an hour) on getting junk food for my siblings and I.
I think I'll spend this Christmas playing Virtual Popstar. Maybe even give a little credits or clothing for the season of giving. c;
