might sound heartless but if a distant relative were to give me gift, i would very much appreciate it, but sorry no u wont get anything in return, that would just cause me unnecessary stress. if it's someone closer to me, i might give it effort to have anxiety abt givin something back but let's be honest.. im gonna forget
