I would go with dress pants in that case cause I don’t see mini skirts being appropriate for a gala 😭 unless we r using the word completely different from each other

mhmhm I see.. I might be biased because I love long skirts for going out  I feel like short skirts for cocktail theme needs to be executed well for it to work... MAYBE  a plain skirt (darker color) with a fitted multicolored top/shirt, and darker tights could work, though I think pants would be the safer and better option, the fun shirt can still be implemented somehow though

That's cute, but it's something I would normally wear towork
love that! but does it mean u'd want to step it up a notch?
as i said i loved how tailored it seemed to fit. that's what got me fallin for it
