honestly the german HQ is mostly responsible for PR and marketing they got nothing to do with the developer team and which company isnt greedy tbh.. i dont like all of the decisions the CEOs make but the developers still take a lot of time creating theses games and there is no doubt that working at nintendo is a big opportunity and getting a good job is all about connections i fear
are you good at networking?
not at all i only talk to people i think are interestingĀ
i was gonna say if ur strong at networking u might be able to get some good connections just by working there otherwise the other position could be better, buut u already made ur choice and i think ur teacher has a point

bro i just received the message from nintendo back and that woman said she wishes i said that sooner because her time is precious and she hopes that for my career i will be more careful about how i use my time with employers. (mind you this all happened within a week and thats only bcs she took like 4 days to email me back) then she said that all the other applicants were not "good" enough from our school and its not because of our students (nintendo has a good relationship with our school) but because we do not get taught about it (PR) she said we are all talented young women and wishes us the best.... what kinda weird message is that?? i feel like its so unprofessional to tell me about that. Yes i maybe shouldnt have send the email asking about the schedule (i honestly wasnt expecting to send a whole CV bcs my prof told me i dont need to) but i also didnt know if i would get the other position either so i just take my chances like all applicants do. Did she think i didnt apply anywhere else or what? It took them like 2 months to even pick out some studentsĀ

now i wonder if i should message her back saying it was not my intention to waste time but i didnt expect to get a place somewhere else and it happened exactly within that week im gonna take the place where i have a SAFE spot. IDK i feel like that message is so aggressive and not professional.Ā

if they didnt ask anything i feel like she just wanted to vent her frustrations, like i wouldnt reply back to stick my name to something like that in their memory
