i also think simsers already start archiving all the data and potentially recreating the sims on a private server with all packs downloadable for free ngl lmfaooo

Oh yeah that is 100% why they nought it, as for sims 5 i never cared for it so not getting a new game aint a loss for me-
But i can just see, how in the future, they could make sims 4 political and be like "our children shouldnt see this! The gays are taking over! Remove these features NOW"

just to let you know its a private equity firm which means the money greed will get even worse. Saudi arabia is also not exactly known to be inclusive or support freedom of expression. They will most definitely neglect the sims franchise and not build it up again. Im also sure they will remove a lot of people working in the sims department
tbh this would be great. let the game rest, it had a good run. luckily sims 2/3 are still out there for the sailors. i prefer those over sims 4
