I recently watched the Neflix Original movie 'the platform' and I really liked the movie and also quite shocked me, especially in the end.

Is there anyone on VP who've watched the movie? what did you think of it? And what do you think happened at the end. Personally i think the end was really confusing

@gaengsaeng  i liked it
i had to read some articles abt the ending tho bc i was also confused lmao. im not good at explaining but this article made it make sense lol, they also talk abt each characters role in it

https://www.looper.com/199118/the-ending-of-the-platform-explained/

so i guess at the end the girl hopefully gets up at the top, the ppl working there r like bro how did a kid get in there thats messed up. and Goreng im assuming just dies down at the bottom bc he wasnt important for the message they wanted to send

some of the ending explained:
"The conclusion of The Platform sees Goreng sending the child back up on the platform as a message to the chefs at the top, who are presumably in a similar state of ignorance as Imoguiri. Instead of proving to them that the prisoners can adapt to the system, he wants to show them that the system itself is unspeakably and unfathomably cruel, and those operating it cannot be trusted."

"For Gaztelu-Urrutia, who directed from a script written by David Desola and Pedro Rivero, the way The Platform wraps up demonstrates "the failings of different ideologies."" ... "There may be a criticism of capitalism from the beginning, but we do show that as soon as Goreng and Baharat try out socialism to convince the other prisoners to willingly share their food, they end up killing half of the people they set out to help."

Recently I got some wonder Anime series from Netflix,

Currently "One piece" is on my playing list and the filler list helped me to skip the unwanted episode to continue with the main story.
