yeah but they don't count. honestly one of the smallest parties that get represented on the storting in Norway had prime minister for a few years back in the early 00s

Numbers: amount of representants that state add to the electorial college. The party that win 1 state wins ALL the representatives of that state. If you collective have won the most representants that party gain the presidency when the electoral college votes. And the presidency is alone VOTED ON by the representatives in the electorial college. Why? Bc the founders thought ppl generally was too stupid to give educated votes. Yes, this mean the people only indirectly vote on their president. So you can win the popular vote but still loose. Yes, it basically erase a lot of votes and voters voices. Yes, it favors states with the most representatives.
