ReportThings I didn't plan for when I started yoga
So I started yoga about 11 weeks ago thanks to Nesta, here are somethings that have changed in my life since starting that I didn't expect.
1. I keep my room clean I am notoriously messy my room never stays organized or clean for long, but mine has stayed clean because I need the space.
2. I vacuum more This could go under number one but I think there different. I shed like crazy, my cat sheds like crazy, little things that get tracked into my room none of these were a big deal before I literally was sweaty and covered in kitty fur then it matters
3. I feel more organized It doesn't matter if my day isn't planned or I have done anything that day just starting and ending my day with yoga makes me feel like I have my life together
4. Overall feelings of working out I hate lifting weights, running and any basic gym thing. I'm sore the next day and so sore I don't want to keep doing it, with yoga I might be sore but I so know that there is yoga to help sore muscles so eh might as well kill two birds with one stone. Now that I've been doing it for a hot sec I don't get as sore as often so I feel like I can keep going.
5. My perception of yoga When I first told people I was doing yoga I was like hah I know I don't do the mediation part like I'm here for the strength building like my brothers joke was oo you need yoga for straight men. Now and especially after a long day I cant believe I use to ignore the breathing mediation because I always feel so refreshed after.
