asfaik the makeup on aliexpress is legit most of their popular makeup is being sold overseas in regulated markets and stuff thats why i dont think that they have inherently bad products just that you can potentially buy knock offs if youre not paying attention. With contacts I wasnt sure tho bcs most ppl dont seem to have any problems when it comes to reviews other than the size not fitting etc. Im just wondering where most ppl get their lenses from bcs im just mostly interested in those douyin type lenses

and ive made bad experience with nail polish i bought of alieyxpress, its like ... some kinda plastic film and not like normal polish once u put it on your nails?? but the brands i can buy in store never make any of the cool glitter tioppers u see on aliexpress uuugh

like normal nail polish will react wiht the layer thats under it and they kinda melt together. which means if it chips, all layers chip, because its melded together. but with the aliexpres topcoats u can cleanly pull off the topcoat after it dries. and also if u try to put clear coat nailpolish on top it will get cloudy. bascially making the top coat useless ... idk what they sell as nailpolish on there but its def not formulated the same as what u can buy on the western market. 

so thats why im sus abt cosmetics on aliexpress as well ... especially if its eye makeup  because idk i only have 1 eyesight and i would like to keep it

A lot of the products are popular brands in china and are also being sold in regulated makeup stores in europe and the US. Most products are imported from china if you look at some of the make up you buy in your regular stores

im just not able to do the vetting on what is legit and what isnt myself ...or id rather not gamble with things that go near/into ur eyes
