so now hes planning out the layout and im looking forward to chilling there if it’s a nice day and i dont wanna be locked inside my apartment all day

he has just finished his layout and made a HUGE list of all the plants he wants to buy… i’ll ask him if he wants to share his layout here in a bit (slowly working on getting him on this site 😈)
but i know for sure he wants carrots, strawberries, lettuce, peas, snap peas, pumpkins, zucchini, eggplant, cucumber, chilis, bellpepper… im for sure missing stuff i’ll ask him when he’s finished eating his pizza

Hi I am boyfriend :3. So the entire northern border already has asparagus in it, so I'll keep like 50% of them just in the ground. Only issue with the plot is that there is quite a big tree south of it, along with a 2m hedge so all the compost and equipment storage will go along the southern border and anything less than 3m from the hedge won't really get sun so no plants there. Made sure to put the most sun needing crops at the top and some leefy greens and herbs more south (as they can handle less sun). And there is already a fig tree in the middle of the plot so i'll transplant it to the top left so it does not shade the vegetables containers. : D

woaaah such a big plot n so organized... very najs pick of crops i wish i had space for that much variety but prolly for the better cause i forget to water stuff oopsie
defo hold on to that asparagus,,, i couldnt even begin starting thinking about the kinda commitment that takes to grow from scratch 💀 do you know how many years in they are?

i always do strawberries or wild strawberries so one of those, then im thinking of trying lavender (but only a small amount so i wont end up with any unfortunate cat incidents), n tomatoes cause i always grow that too, n i think potatoes or some sort of beet, then i think i will mostly focus on herbs! i only have planters on my patio thats maybe uuu 2x3? idk im very bad at estimating numbers, so im a bit limiuted

thats a nice plan
the courgette will take over the bed its in and produce more than anyone ever wants to eat, trust me
