also i kinda miss the creativity of doing the nails myself and would enjoy to not have the stress to explain someione what color i want where 

the downside is that i would have to do nailprep with a drill on my dominant hand with my non dominant hand myself .... and that i would have to buy a looot of stuff to get started tbh.
i do have a dremel/electrical nail file already but idk if i need one that u can adjust the speed more accurately ... mine only has 3 levels lol. and i really dont want to damage my natural nails accidentally

yeah im not the best with normal nail polish either
but the builder gel kinda gives ur nails some 3d structure? similiar to what acryllic does. and when i painted my second set of acryllic nails with normal polish because the guy fucked up and it was ugly i realized its reaaally easy to not draw on ur cuticles etc. with the 3d structure on ur nails

oh ur nails peeling off ur nailplate sounds SCARY and like it would probably hurt 
did you get really long nails? i feel like since i always get short or very moderately long nails theres probably less risk of the things like when you snag ur nails on something and it injures your nailbend because off the pressure on it
but the damage on the natural nail since they buff it everytime cant be avoided ...
