i can totally relate to that, altho honestly i must admit that i'd happily risk my own life traveling to space, and i'm sure that's the mindset these astronauts have too. they are aware of the risks. i've always loooved flying and a spacetrip for me would be everything

i mean, i support spending money on space-travel and space-research simply because that's what i find interesting. i already do what i can to save the planet by my own so yeah. also compared to earlier years what we are spending now is waaay less than it used to and i definitely see a lot of positive things coming with space-travel and honestly i personally love the idea of a mars civilization (which is what musk is aiming for). but i do also understand why people doesn't support it
