FT: Bullet Journaling
Elowyn
Minister of Pop

Hello, hope you're having a great Wednesday so far!

I recently bought a bullet journal to keep my thoughts organised as well as to try to pick up a new hobby. I really enjoy it so far, even though I lack inspiration on how to make pretty spreads myself! D: I mainly look at pinterest for inspiration and usually mix and match what I find there. My favourite of what I've done so far is my monthly spread for April, which I found on google... With some minor tweaks.

Do you own a bullet journal?
If so, are you writing in it regularly?
Do you have a favourite page that you've made, and is it something you would want to show?
What do you like the most about bullet journaling?

Would love to do so, i find them relaxing to watch on youtube.

But i am not detminded enough and don't have enough to say that a bullet journal would be good

Right! I too enjoy watching videos and pictures of different stuff people have made. Ah yeah I can understand that ): I've been thinking about buying one for a long time but never got around to do it, I felt like I wasn't determined as well. Maybe it's something you can try in the future perhaps?

Same thing here, i just can't get myself to buy a bullet journal because i cannot tell if im gonna use it, so it feels like a waster to use 5 pages and then abandoning it!

I'm a big note taker though

I used to be when I get stressed I'm not organized and when I'm not stressed I don't need to be organized lol

I love journaling! I find the videos on Youtube so aesthetic but then I remember that the point of it is to have fun with it. It's no fun if I'm trying to recreate exactly what everyone else has, but I tend to do simple doodles and drawings according to my mood.

I use an A6 6 ring binder which works great for me b/c its so small and compact!

Yes I can understand why! I'm afraid of that as well, I just have to force myself to do it.
Nice! Taking notes is great to stay organised

Ah fantastic!! Yes true :] I think I need it to look neat and organised, and with no imagination I just remake what I think looks good. It's great that you're having so much fun with it!

I get where you're coming from, I always have the urge to rip out the page if it doesn't look nice & neat but I'm trying to embrace the mistakes more

Right? Haha I think that would've made me quit. The first two or three pages in my journal look horrible, so I didn't start the next monthly spread until like a week into the month :[  But yeah I forced myself to continue and now it's fun!!

How long have you been doing bullet journaling?

I don't even remember, I've been drawing since forever so for me it's really just about releasing stress and I definitely don't journal everyday. I can't be bothered to keep that strict routine.
