take into consideration that not all items would be auctioned, certain items from here would be making an appearance but on the raffles

Wouldn’t a weekend have been better than a Monday? Some people would be at work or school so by the time they get home the bids on the items will probably be through the roof xx

Heya, while I understand the point you're making, it won't matter when the auction will start if people will be bidding a lot and the bids will "go through the roof", as it could happen in both scenarios.
However, we DID make each bidding session a week long so that working folk, students, and anyone that doesn't have a lot of time, will have some time to pop in and join the bidding

i've said all a long i think this would have been better as the shop drops that shadowjess used to do on a weekend then it was fair because an auction honestly won't be xx

But would that really be more fair though? In that case only the fastest would have the chance to buy the item. Now every person online during that week have the chance to atleast see the items. Even if that means they need the whole week to gather cr.

And also since the whole point is to weed out the credits, what kinda price were you thinking?

We cannot promise that it'll be 100% fair, but we put enough thought and effort into making it as accessible and fair to everyone.
The point of the auction is to get items back into the market, into active players' wardrobes, and money out of the game to help the economy, which is exactly what this auction will achieve.

Making a shop drop event for those items would be bad as it'd be first come first serve; we do NOT have a time limit or a limited amount to deal with here, we're talking about hundreds of singular items, that have no average and no price point, you're free to tell me how such a case could be made "fair".

In case you did not read the rest of the thread, I wrote that only the rare and most sought-after items would be auctioned, the rest of the items that are also sought after but not as much, with higher ig amounts, would be raffled, and the rest put in mp, there will be more information about it later as we want to make sure that the auction would go well.

Those were SO stressful cuz I believe a lot of us have work or class or other obligations that prevent us from being in front of our laptops/computers for hours just for the drops…. Those genuinely just went to whoever was the fastest.

Also the purpose of the auction is to hopefully help the VP community with removing the influx of credits to decrease the inflation happening recently 😅 doing a shock drop thing before wouldn’t help with anything other than throwing items back into circulation. Imagine seeing an item you like now but everything cost THOUSANDS of credits each? Isn’t that even more “unfair” in the long term when you’ll basically feel like you HAVE to buy credits to even be able to attain new items?
