Im not triggered nor am I offended! I started this thread for that sole purpose too, cuz I participated in this covid19 inspired fashion competition here nd I noticed some ppl got offended nd asked the host to take it down. I tried to understand why that happened which is why I started this thread

Doesn't that fully depend on the artwork itself? There will be artwork that is really offensive to people who experience the virus or have friends and relatives who experience it, but there will also be artwork that isn't. I feel like intent is also a huge factor in this. If you're making a joke to be a jerk, then no I'm not here for it, if your intention is to take a really bad situation and try to entertain and distract people, then go ahead!! I'm a fashion design student at uni t the moment, and whenever I'm making a design or a collection, I take inspiration and use references that might sometimes be a bit of a sensitive subject, but my intention is never to hurt anyone, it's to create something meaningful and beautiful!!

@VanityVogue  so far this is the best answer i've had abt this topic. I completely agree! One's intention is what defines the artwork as "good" or "bad"
