i've been dealing with this spammer on the website i'm not allowed to mention after he was done sharing this info on vp. first of all he's using vpns so a one time ban won't just wipe him out. secondly i've been sitting and monitoring newly created accounts for hours until our developer came up with a fix to prevent him joining, and he seems to not be bothering us anymore, thank god.
what i'm trying to say, at this point admins and mods can continue stressing over this, looking out for new accounts but there's nothing they can do to prevent or stop the spammer on their own and it's not fair putting this on them, they literally can't do anything to stop him once for all. yeah they can ban him when he pops in, but we can't expect anyone to be this focused on banning one person, there's other stuff to do too. it requires some skill and work in the backend to make a temporarily "fix", and only kaj or some other person with some sorta insight will be able to do that
also on a sidenote what the spammer is doing is so disgusting and i really hope that there's a fix for it soon, i'm so sorry to see all these people affected by the leak and i can only imagine how uncomfortable it must feel.
