It would be really nice if you could like each other’s posts (a “like”). This could be implemented in different ways:
Being able to give every forum post a thumbs up or a heart (one of the two)
Being able to give every Startalk post a thumbs up or a heart (one of the two)
Being able to give every Startalk post different reactions. For example the emoticons on FB/Instagram
This would also apply to messages in the guestbook/blog posts! (a “like”)
I suggest that forum posts should only be able to receive a thumbs up/heart so the feature can only be used positively. For this reason, also no “dislike” button.
It would also be fun if new emojis were added again, maybe even a competition where players design new emojis that can then be chosen from.
Why?
It happens so often that you read something, don’t really have anything to say about it, but still want to show that you’ve read it. It’s also nice for the poster to feel seen in that way. Personally, I really miss having a function like this.
