Yeah that's the type of thing I mean, both poems and art should be banned imo. Art is too subjective.

I think it would be best to give it all in one go unless you make it VERY clear to your SS that they'll be getting more later on, so that they don't misunderstand and message us thinking they didn't get enough 
Tbh this is a fun idea and my secret Santa from the RL I was in did that for me last year 

I was confused at first but I eventually figured it out plus mine revealed themselves 

if this is a route you want to take, I am more than happy to help you accomplish this with your secreta santa! Just let me know so I can make a small note next to your name

Well yes and no 

Unfortunately, receiving gifts from everybody that signs up (I think over 200 users signed up last year) and then distributing it to their intended recipients so it remains a secret will be a lot of work and would require more hands on deck than most of us on SMT have during the holiday season 

The way we have done it now and previously seems to work for the most part and still allows for some mystery

This is a great question but a bit difficult for me to answer because what you may consider little effort may not be true for somebody else. However, I would agree that something as simple as a “stick figure” drawing would be considered no effort and therefore unacceptable. 

However, if anybody that signs up for SS this year receives what they feel like is “effortless” art (please don’t be rude and really consider what you’ve received) is welcome to message one of us privately so we can discuss and figure out a solution.

To answer your second question, I am more than willing to deliver SS gifts to a person of your choosing if you don’t want to actually be apart of the overall list 

However, if you do want to participate and would like to send gifts to your SS completely anonymous you are welcome to let me know and I will make a small note next to your name
