Dahlia sighed as she sat on the lifeguard chair, the only one there as well. Everyone else had already scattered and left which just left her.. all alone.. with the huge waves.. Though she didn't feel the least bit intimidated. Well, water was basically like her second home, she was in it or by it.. well almost all the time. She was about head home in fact, when she saw a figure moving to the water and she widened her eyes.

Adam was feeling pretty bored that day. He didn't want to stay home just sitting around when there were killer waves to be surviving. So just as the thought entered his mind, he knew he had to do it. So there he was then, going toward the humongous waves with his surfboard in one hand.

My posts probably won't be quite this long after the first few posts, just so you all are aware.

Gemma sighed as she sat atop the tall lifeguard chair. She tossed a few things into her bag, wanting to be prepared to stay until the absolute minute. She had just finished packing her bag when the waves really started to pick up. They were so loud that she could barely hear her own thoughts, and the wind was blowing her hair into her face so fast that she couldn't keep it away long enough. She slipped her sunglasses off and put them in her bag, noticing that the sky was truly as dark as it had seemed behind her shades. She squinted out into the distance, standing on her very tip toes to get a better view of a figure that she saw out in the distance. She saw a large shadow below the figure and noticed that the person was surfing. Who in the world would do such a thing during this terrible weather? "Stop!" she called out, racing down from her chair and flailing her arms in the air. "It's not safe!"

Seth drew in a deep breath as he paddled back out into the deep waves, his body being pushed from side to side on his board as the tide grew stronger yet. He cursed to himself when he saw what was ahead of him. If he rode this wave all the way into the shore, he'd never be able to believe that he actually did it. If not, the chances that he would never surf again were pretty high. He pursed his lips and paddled a bit further, aligning his board correctly before standing up for the millionth time that night. He heard thunder rumble above him - it must have been pretty loud to make a sound over the overwhelming sound of the gushing waves. He didn't make it but ten seconds before he was sent under the water, trying his best not to breathe in any of the salt water as he was tossed around like a rag doll. He threw his hands up, hoping to break the surface of the water as water flooded into his lungs. Nothing could have prepared him for this.

Blake watched the waves, as they grew stronger and more rough. He smiled, liking the challenge of defeating them. He had noticed the clouds, but didn't mind them, as he set out for the water, again. He had surfed in all kinds of weather, before; so he didn't think it would be too difficult. He ran in and paddled against the waves. Once he had reached the first enormous wave he stood. Not too long after, he fell in. His arms and legs moved furiously, but the water was too much. It rocked violently in all directions and he couldn't reach the surface.

Skylar packed her things up and was now just relaxing in her chair with her head back. A crack of thunder lifted her head up and she got a good look of the sea. The water and the sky were dark. It wasn't hard for her eyes to find a human heading for the water, against all the dark. "No," she murmured, and jumped out of her chair. She watched for a moment, to make sure they really were heading out, before she ran towards the person. She had watched someone very close to her die in a similar scenario and she did not want anyone else to experience that.

Harley was sitting back on the high life-gurd chair, enjoing the strong breeze and sea air. Her shift would be ending soon and Harley knew no one would be here in this weather. Easy money. She pulled her umbrella lower so the book she was reading wouldn't get ruined. Some reason she couldn't concentrate so she gave up after a few pages and put the book down in her lap. Her eyes moved ahead and noticed a figure out front. Getting down, she started walking towrads it, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes. "Hey! Hey! Don't you think you should go home how instead of surfing...in this weather? It's dangerous!" She shouted, warning whoever it was. Probably a reckless freshman trying to impress someone. But as she looked around, no one was there with him. What was he doing?

Luca smirked as the weather grew stronger, wilder and he cracked his knuckles. "Why not?" He said to himself, looking around and saw he was the only one here. He splashed himself into the water, loving the feeling of the rain pouring down on him. He pulled his chest onto the board and then stood up, working himself over the waves. At first, it seemed pretty easy; the weather was just a backdrop or somehow helping him to surf even better than he had before. But then the wind hit him hard and he lost his footing, falling head first into sea. The water was gushing its way into his body and he had no time to be screaming "help". Luca couldn't feel himself: he was slowly slipping away.

Piper leant back into her lifeguard chair, looking around her as she realised she was the only one there. Everyone else must have gone home. She sighed, turning her attention to the sky and the dreadful weather. She frowned, turning her head back to look straight infront of her. She noticed how rough the raves had become, and smiled gently. As much as she couldn't wait to go home, she loved being by the sea, or by any water. It was second nature to her. Coming out of her own little daydreams, she squinted her eyes, gasping softly. What she was seeing couldn't be true, could it? She immediately jumped off her chair and ran towards the water, her arms flying everywhere. "STOP! what are you DOING?" she screamed to the figure trying to surf in the appalling weather.

Lee grinned at the waves around him, smiling as he ran into the water. Surfing was his relaxation exercise, his escape, and he loved nothing more. He lay onto the board and pulled himself into a standing position, catchin wave after wave. Slowly, without much notice, the waves grew stronger and stronger. As he fell head first off the board, his head reappeared above the water, gasping for air. "Help, Help please!" he screamed, in exasperated breaths, grasping for air. He started to panic, flailing his arms about, trying to scream.

I don't usually do this, but since almost everyone has posted, I'll just re-post what I had for Gemma and create Seth's new part. It probably won't happen again.

Seth finally managed to pop his head through the surface of the water and let out a hearty cough, trying to keep the salt water from slipping back down into his already hardworking lungs. He panicked as the tide was washing him down the coast line, away from the lone lifeguard that remained. He knew that she was there the entire time, but he refused to acknowledge that he should probably listen to her and get back to the shore. Sadly, it was time to listen to the warning signs - but he couldn't muster up enough strength to swim against the current and back to the shore at the same time. "Help!" he started to call out, his voice cracked and barely audible between the rolling waves and the crashing thunder. He focused on keeping his arms raised so that he could be spotted but he got tired really easily. He would need help son or it could be too late.

Dahlia blew her whistle as loud as she could when the same figure atually moved into the water. She groaned when she noticed the person drowning. With widened eyes, she jumped off her seat and ran towards the water with a life jacket in her hand. She quickly swam to the person, going underwater to get the person. Once the person, who was later found out to be a he, was in her arms, she took him to shore.

Adam grinned as he let himself on his surfboard, getting ready when a huge wave came towards him and he was remembered being frozen on the spot. The water hit him in a daze and he fell off his board. He tried his best to stay above the water but it felt as if the water was pulling him down. Muffled screams left his mouth.

Blake started to quit his battle with the water just as he felt someone's grip. When they had reached the surface he was able to look at the person. He could see the girl, but he couldn't bring himself to speak. The words wouldn't come out, no matter how hard he tried. He had swallowed too much water. Luckily, he was still conscious, but the world around him had gone fuzzy. Struggling to breathe, Blake managed to cough up some of the water in his lungs, but not all.

Skylar ran into the water. She had no gear for this rescue. The other guards had already taken them earlier when the other surfers had left. Her heart raced as she swam as fast as the water would allow her. She dove in and grasped Luca firmly from behind his back. Once she had broke the surface with him in her arms, she began to swim back to shore. She hoped that this guy would be okay.
