Xia grinned and made a mental note to herself to come to the bulletin board more often. Smiling, she let her eyes roam around the board, then when she noticed there was nothing else too useful, she made her way back to her dorm. This time, she sang in a soft voice under her breath. It might seem weird to someone else that she'd just burst out singing at random parts of the day, but when she sang, she felt close to her mom, as if she might still be with her.

Lucas run a hand through his hair, casually messing it up a bit and walked out the door of the campus and towards the closest minimart. He walked there, since it was so close. Taking a deep breath, he walked in and grabbed a cart, heading for the junk food aisle first, of course. After he'd gotten all the essential foods and paid, he headed back to the campus with bags filled with groceries. Shrugging, he headed down to his dorm, kicking the door open.

Xia nodded, not really in the mood to talk. She was only here for a drink and for some time to be alone, dance, and get her mind off things. The only reason she was at this school was because of her mom and that would be the only reason she'd be there. She'd made her mind before coming. School first, everything else, never. "First year would be correct." She looked straight ahead, took a long gulp of the beer.

Lucas looked over at the crowd of people dancing and shrugged, walking over to them. He joined some random gals and started moving to the beat beside them. They were much, much, better than him, but he was still having a nice time. The two girls where Tania and Ashlee who'd been there for 2 years and their talent was dancing. He'd told them about his acting and smiled slightly.

laura looked back at the girl and continued chatting with her. she finished her beer and tossed her cup in a trash bag then watched as a few guys just prepared the wood for the bonfire to light up later. she swung her feet off the trunk of the truck and looked around, grinning.

Xia turned to him and shrugged at his hand. "Xia, and I don't shake hands with strangers." She said, looking him straight in the eye and finished her cup of beer. She held in a burp and put the cup down on the table. "So, what brings you here eh Danny?" She asked, looking at him with the corner of her eye and cocking her head towards him slightly. She didn't know what he wanted from here, but whatever it was, he wasn't getting it.

Lucas laughed as he talked to the two girls. They seemed extremely close, a bit too close, if you get what he meant. He had no problem at all with lesbians. In fact, he found it extremely intriguing. They hadn't told him anything, but he just got the vibes, it seemed like it. He countinued talking to the girls and eventually got their numbers, telling him to call if he needed any dance lessons.

Laura was glancing around when a familiarish looking guy with a familiarish looking smile appeared in her view. Where did she know him? Suddenly, it clicked. She stood up almost too quickly but stopped herself before she could take a step. what if he doesn't want to talk to me? what if it's not even him? she thought to herself. She shook her head and walked over, tapping his shoulder."lucasss?"

Xia shrugged, not sure if this guy was getting the hint or not. "Different opinions on different people." She took a moment to look around at all the people, wondering they would be a threat to her or not. When he answered her question, she turned to look at him with a raised brow. "I meant, what's your talent? What brought you to this school?" She had the urge to roll her eyes, but kept them in place.

Lucas smiled and turned to look around, he caught sight of someone familiar, but shook the thought away. There was no way she could be there, no way at all. It'd been years and how could she ju-. His thoughts were interrupted when he turned to see Laura, his childhood best friend. "Laur? Oh man, how long has it been?" He was much taller then her, so he had to look down, but other than that, there wasn't much difference in him.

I always knew you'd get in someplace amazing because of your ballet. I bet you've gotten much better over the years, eh?"

"Aha, that play was pretty awesome. I guess it helped since I played the lead." He joked, and licked his bottom lip. "So, hows it going? Like it here so far?"
