I walked around the corner again to see everyone inside the kitchen spread out. I sat up on one of the counters and tried to think about how we were gonnaย  unfreeze the food.

If we even had any power. Without anyone keeping an eye on the power plants, most electricity har disappeared years ago. Heating up the frozen food could take days, if we were lucky. Unless we found some other way to do it. The only possibility I could think of, would be to wait. Sure, we had matches and kerosene lamps, but would it be worth it, wasting that on something we could do without it, only in a little more time?ย
