"i can't go through this again", she murmured, in the process of getting dressed. she felt david's eyes watch her, and she could feel he was confused. while she kissed him, all she could think of in her head was all the pain she was in from her last break up. a six year relationship gone down the drain. she heard water dripping, as she saw david get out of the tub not long after her and try to change her mind. he wrapped his arms around her and she sighed, feeling as if she was going to cry.

oli shook his head, stopping and facing towards her. "why do you do this to me? why do you constantly keep a wall between us? do you honestly not like me that much? because you've been leading me on for a while, and I can't even believe i'm saying this. i can't hold it in any longer, because i'm falling for you so hard."

adelita stopped and frowned. it was so sudden, and she had no idea what had overcome him. why was he questioning her? it was making her feel really uncomfortable and she all of a sudden just wanted the ground to swallow her up. she pulled her sleeves over her hands, looking up at him, shaking her head. "oli i'm not doing anything, i'm not leading you on. I never asked for you to fall for me, am I not allowed to just be your friend?" she sighed and ran a hand through her hair, shaking her head at him.

adeita was getting a little frustrated she had a short temper and when people didn't listen to her, it was what frustrated her the most. especially now, when she so badly wanted to tell him the truth. "i'm not leading you on oliver! I genuinely like you, you are one of the most caring guys I have ever met but I just don't want a relationship right now, is that so hard to accept? I have my reasons, that doesn't mean I have to tell you." she crossed her arms over her chest, looking down at the ground.

oli stared at her, "and what would be the reason for you not telling me your reasons? i'm sorry, okay. it's just this always happens to me. i'll get really close to a girl, and then she'll drop me out of no where. no text, no explanation, like i didn't even mean anything. it always hurts because i have so many feelings for them, i try to do everything in my power for them, but because we're not dating they think it's not gonna hurt when they leave without telling me why. maybe it's my fault, i just really like you."

"fine, you want to know? i'm scared of committing to someone, someone finding out the real me i'm probably one of the most heartless people you can come across, if you hadn't guessed already." she frowned and glared up at him, her brows furrowed. "you mean a hell of a lot to me oli and i'm not just going to drop you. you're all I have here. and you're all I really need." she sighed and looked around, at anything but him. "but whatever.."
