You have just graduated from high school and you want a way to relieve stress before college starts. So, you pack up your things and head south to Florida, or the Sunshine State. You're more than thrilled to head to the amazing beach since you haven't been there since you were a freshman. You hop on an airplane for a nine-hour flight, which you find gruesome, yet comforting. Once you arrive, you settle in at your hotel and your first plan is to head out to the beach-to tan or to scope out boys, you don't know which. You're climbing over the large rocks at the beach with all of your beach 'junk' in a bag slung over your shoulder when your foot suddenly twists on the slippery rocks and you fall, doing what you thought was breaking your leg. The people rushing by you couldn't care less and you don't know how to get help, considering you're laying in the middle of a mob of people and you've got a busted up leg. Except for one boy, who seems to be about your age. He looks around for a few moments (making sure that his friends aren't looking, you guess) and sweeps you up in his arms, where you really get to get a good look at him. He's absolutely gorgeous, just the type of guy you want in your life. Then he leans and whispers in your ear, "Just laying there isn't going to help you any," and then he chuckles just the slightest bit, but enough to give your heart a little squeeze. Before letting you protest, he whisks you back to the hotel that he's staying at, busily taking care of you and helping you at every chance he can. Before long, he realizes that he can't do much more and whisks you away to the hospital, where you learn that you truly did break your leg. You call your parent's cell phone and leave a message, telling them what happened, where you are, and that everything's going to be alright. So let's look at this a little closer. You've got an amazing boy in front of you who's willing to take a bullet for you, pretty much, even though you're complete strangers; you don't have anyone like your friends to constantly bug you and make you do things with them; and what a coincidence-both of you are leaving the same day, in three weeks, to head back home-where you don't even live far away from each other. You've got three weeks to decide what you're going to do in this situation and to decide whether or not you'll still keep in touch afterwards. Do you two grow really close, or do you end up complete enemies? And what happens to your relationship in the future?

farrah lay on the floor, holding her ankle, tears streaming down her face. she tried to stand up but it was no use. looking around, she looked in shock. so many people, just walking by and leaving her. no-one cared. she didn't know how to get anyone's attention, no-one seemed to be listening. "help.. please?" she whispered, her voice nearly inaudible as she gave up.

lee walked along the beach, kicking at the sand, and looking out to the ocean. he smiled, he'd always loved being at the beach. it was such a happy place, full of memories and laughter.

Sam looked over at his friends who were still back at the rollercoaster line. They'd go on it atleast 4 times, yet his friends didn't seem to get bored of the ride as he did. He walked off and looked around, smiling at the happy people. He was going to keep walking when a girl, laying on the floor, caught his eye. He walked, wait scratch that, ran over to her and look around for a moment, before picking her up. "You shouldn't just lay there." He said, before winking at her and walking off with her in his arms, not even bothering to ask her name.

"well, just laying there isn't going to help you much, is it?" he said, smirking slightly before standing up and picking her up with him. he turned and began to walk away.

Sam looked down at her and smiled, and was at a bit of a loss for words when looking at her. Of course, she was breaktakingly beautiful. "Don't worry, i'll take you over to the hospital, it's not that far." He reassured her when he saw her wince. He squeezed her shoulder, just for luck and smiled again, as he walked down the sidewalk and towards the small clinic not too far from the beach.

lee chuckled. "oh i don't know, maybe you were waiting for someone like me to come pick you up." he said, smirking. "maybe it was your plan all along." he laughed. "and if it was, well done. it worked out how you wanted, right?" he said, winking at her, and walking towards the edge of the beach and to the carpark.
