It's summer time, and you're 16. What could be better then spending the time with your friends? A summer romance. Well you don't really want one of those, you just want to chill with your friends. Then out of the woodwork steps a beautiful boy, an amazingly beautiful boy. He's quiet, and shy so most don't pay attention to him at all. But you see something special. You start talking to him, he's not only cute but he's just so amazing. Everything he says sounds like it should be coming out of an angel. Well a few things happen and late one night when you're chilling with the group you find yourself in his arms. Your friends say it's about time, since you two do nothing but flirt. You find yourself blissfully happy. Happier then you could ever believe. You two aren't together though. One night your chilling with your friends and this major rainstorm hits. As everyone runs for cover that boy stops you, he's holding your hands when he says the thing you had dreamnt about for the last three months "I'm in love with you". You share a passionate kiss right there smack dab in the thunder. Well all good things have to come to an end. The summer's over and he's heading back to Boston. That night you two stay together cuddled up under the stars, and he gives you a ring. A promise ring. He promises he'll be back for you. Then he leaves. The next summer you lose hope. You're now 18, and you have had boyfriends, but that boy you have yet to forget. Well when chilling with your friends at the local cafe, who happens to step in the door? Be prepared for the summer of your life.
