What had just happened? She thought whenseeing the civilization, her mouth tasted of iron, everything had gone so fast.
It all happened when she was on a Halloween party out in the woods, you know,
for the ‘creeps’. She had her ‘bride of dracula’ costume on, she themed with
her 2 bffs. It had taken forever taking those lenses on. The party was rad,
everyone was jumping, drinking and god knows what they did behind bushes. But
then she heard a noice and stood still. Lazzi, what’s up?
It was Micha asking, one of her bffs. Nothing Micha, I just heard something? she said, making a
pretended laugh, and Micha laughed with her.
It took 5 minutes before Lazzi saw something. She started to get the creeps.
Emchie! She shouted out for her other bff, and told her about it. Emchie just laughed and moved on to some guy
she thought was cute.
Lazzie then decided to go investigate. She went through the forest, it was really creepy out there, and the fullmoon was bigger than she had ever seen it before.
After 10 minutes she got tired and decided to go back.
When she got back, all she could see were heads flying around, and blood,
lots of blood. She saw 3 men, going around and tearing heads off. They then saw
her. One of the men, a really cute guy, looking like he’s in his 20’s came forward.

-I’ll give you a riddle, if you are correct, you shall live eternally, if you are incorrect, you shall die.

- Ok… Lazzie said.

- Once, there was a boy and his father, they went out for a ride. But an accident occurred and the father was no more.
The boy was really hurt and had to be taken into operation. When the surgeon
saw the boy, they said ‘but that is my son!’. Who is the surgeon?

Lazzie thought and thought and then it litto her!

-It’s his MOTHER!!!

-dingdingding!!! You shall live eternally, after saying that, he smirked.

She felt a tingling sensation down herspine and passed out.

My brother darted his eyes to the kitchen and then he slowly turned his head back at me with a confused look on his face. My brother tried to stand up once again from his bed, this time standing up before I could protest. Holding on to his sheets to use it as protection, then he slowly started to back away from me, making as
much space as he could between us.
But as he moved, he backed towards the kitchen which made me all confused and scared. I stared at him, terrified for what was to come, for whatever was in the kitchen to take my brother from me. I moved my hands, tried to gesture and send signal to him to make him understand and move away from the kitchen.
I whispered“Get back here, it’s in the kitchen. Can’t you hear it breathe?”I saw him shake his head just as the thing in the kitchen took a step forwards, making itself visible. Its glowing blue eyes stared at me. I froze, scared, fearful for my life. The thing growled,the sound piercing through my ears. I screamed at my brother “Get over here, right now. That things is going to kill you”. My brother didn’t move.
This time he spoke up. “Sis, what are you talking about? What thing?” Was he serious, could he not see the beast behind him.
“Sis, you’re really freaking me out. I don’t understand why you have your eyes closed, howdo you even see me. How could you see me move towards the kitchen when you’ve had your eyes closed this whole time?”
Just as my brother finished his sentence the thing growled once again, but this I could make out words in the growling.
“Only you can see me, and I said earlier- this is not your place anymore.”
I screamed.

p.s May have some spelling and grammatical errors.

The mirrors would bang and shake and rattle, and try to have conversations with her. But if she’d learnt anything from her mother before she disappeared it was that if anything otherworldly tried to initiate communication with you, the best thing to do would be to ignore it.

So ignore it she tried. Day in and day out the noises continued until one night they ceased.

Ecstatic that perhaps her life would finally hold a shred of normality again, she went in front of a mirror to check. She moved about, eyeing her reflection. It all seemed normal – her reflection moved when she did, nothing out of the ordinary.

She moved her head up close to the mirror and used her hands as goggles as if she were looking in through a car window.

She giggled at herself, “Just kidding-“

The moment she opened her mouth a blood splattered hand-print smacked against the inner of the mirror, and continued to push until it had reached through into her world.

Grabbing the girl by her neck, the scarlet hand dragged her in.

The Nam family was quite the wild family, there was never a silent night such as this one.

She waited for her eyes to adjust to the darkness, but they wouldn’t. Not even after several minutes. The door creaked ever so silently, no normal person would’ve been able to detect such a sound on a normal night, but it wasn’t a normal night. And she was definitely not a normal person.

Her head jerked toward the sound. She could not see anyone, but she knew someone was there...no..someone wasn’t the word. It was something. Something was there.

She could not see it...but she felt it. That sinister smile. That slight sinister smile almost a grin even. “You’re next,” whispered a voice barely even audible to normal ears as it continues to breathe next to her. She knew who this voice belonged to the moment it spoke.

The owner of the voice should not be able to breathe, not be able to live, not be able to speak, definitely not be able to kill. But it could and it did.
