I think that there's just a few males who have a lot of items, compared to the extremely huge wardrobes that it appears a lot of fems have. Furthermore, when it comes to poses, special skins, backgrounds, items in general there's more to choose from on the fem's side. Imo, the absolute best entries in this thread is made with female wardrobes so I don't see a problem at all, I think it's easier to do creative things with female items.
I agree with Snus. I don't see the benefit of using the other gender's wd. It would only really be beneficial to male accounts, and even then it's sort of.. pointless? We chose a male account for a reason. I'd personally not want to use a fem wd, which would then put me at a disadvantage to male accounts who would, seeing as they'd have more items to play with.

wait i cant use male wds? like????????? i never knew about this rule, do i have to make a new entry? like i spent so long on mine 
i dont really see a reason why it shouldnt be allowed tho

folks, as far as i can tell, the issue isn't whether or not it's beneficial, or that it's against the rules/you can't win by doing it (although that may be a secondary issue).

the (main) issue seems to be that it isn't stated in the first post that you can't win if your entry isn't the same type of avatar as your account, leading to people doing so, thinking they can enter what they made, only to find out they wasted their time.

it should be made clear so people don't make this mistake.
