i started reading up on Morpheus, and took inspiration from a few points i really liked: - "in the arms of Morpheus" means to be asleep - to step into the dreams, Morpheus would walk through one of two gates; Morpheus passed through the gate made of horns, which represented true and divine dreams, while his brothers, Phobetor (or Ikelos) god of phobic or scary dreams, and Phantasus, god of unreal or phantasmic dreams, walked through the gates made of ivory, representing dreams without true meaning. - Morpheus slept in a cave of poppies (i didnt have poppies, but close enough). This can explain why the opium-based medicine for severe pain is called morphine. Poppies were also used to treat insomnia due to their hypnotic proporties.
