We took express tests in front of a class trip a month ago. We also had to take two, even if the first one was negative. It was to confirm that you have not gotten covid between the time of your first test (which should comfirm\deny, but thus very loosely as those are very fallible) and the time you are going back to school. What I'm not understanding is why were only some of your class allowed to take the test? If someone in the class was sick, everyone should take it. Many have it without symptoms (as you know). 
our parents had to sign the consent form and some choose not to allow school to test their children(idk why). instead they would have to self quarantine for 10 days. the annoying thing is that self quarantining for them rn is 3 days while others had to take 2 tests. im not a big fan of this idea bc it hurts a lot for me(i lowkey cried today lol) but if i have to i will definitely do it

i just realized it might look like im against testing and stuff, but im not we got mad bc it doesnt make sense for some people to just spend 3 days at home(2 actually bc i was counting today as well) and come back without any testing (they might be the ones with covid), especially since they are the ones that are close with that person we believe to have covid

It sucks that that's the situation. It's strongly of you to do it even if it hurts. If it helps anything, I think your mom made a good choice at letting you take the test because, by chance you did have it, you would know earlier than if waiting for symptoms, I think. It's also safer for those you live with to have it confirmed, in case you would want to keep your distance from them if you were sick. It doesn't read as if you're against testing. I very much understand both not wanting pain or discomfort and how the pandemic forces you to endure difficult situations for the greater good.

That's really fucked. Their parents are failing here, imo. I can get waiting for vaccines to get even better tested, but a speed test does you absolutely nothing.

I'm quite picky on smells, but my favorite is Hjol by Ljos Candles. I'm burning one of their other ones, Skogr, at the moment, but Hjol is by far my favorite and one I will repurchase when I've burned down the other one. I was actually hoping they'd make a reed diffuser with my favorite scent, but that's yet to come.
that sounds so so good i'm probably gonna buy one myself
