i start a 3 month contract in may-aug, and I don't have any vacation included in that. it's not fulltime but enough to not really have any full weeks off. so in theory, i either have to work extra hours before July, which kinda is slightly against the point of u know being in a NAV program to build my capacity bc this is about the time of the year i desperately is holding on for the only enjoyable time of the year (that i won't have). LIKE I SAVED ALL MY VACATION DAYS THIS YEAR FOR SUMMER SO THIS SUCKS BC I COULDN'T KNOW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AT ALL, and they are kinda doing me a favor hiring me on for even a short time.
but in conclusion
- no vacation
- no vacation money
- no free bus
- i get to work 4% less than I do now at 1k better pay
- i get hired "for real" BUT i get new tasks, aaa this is the most stressful time of the year
but like i live for vacations, not work. so yeah this is BITTERSWEET AF.
