The disorder is a result of serious trauma, splits can occur from any trigger depending on the individual. Don't minimise someone's mental illness just because you don't understand it.

she said an alter split because how trish was acting in the video to Anthony, how she was yelling at the camera and getting very aggressive with her tone, words, and actions/movement. this probably triggered flashbacks of her previous trauma. like Alam said, don't minimise someone's mental illness
