There are also different kinds of empathy, there is reflex empathy which happens automatically, and there is cognitive empathy which means knowing how someone else feels. Psychopaths do mostly have cognitive empathy.

so yes, psychopathy can be comorbid with sadism, tho it is not that common as one might think by the common misconseption of psychopaths
