*edited for link* the problem with using random blogposts instead of actual news sources is that they're almost always outdated and dont cover the whole problem- not only did they adopt an autistic asian boy as a prop for their family vlog, they now literally CANNOT FIND THE KID. people are seriously convinced that they've killed him (something that autism speaks has literally advocated for in the past so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch if they did)

i'm autistic. this could have been me. my birth father literally has told me that he would hire people to kidnap me for showing autistic traits.use your fucking brain cells and understand what's wrong with "a kid is missing, could be in another country, could be dead. who knows!"

this isn't something to be curious about, this isn't something for you guys to go "oh yeah i watched a youtube video" "oh yeah i read a blog post" "oh yeah i heard about it". this is why i fucking hate true crime, anyone i've talked about this case to is treating it the same way nosy neighbors look out the window when they hear ambulances pull up to their neighbor's house.

and i swear to god if one more person tells me "stop being mad" this literally. could have been. me. the only difference is that this family deliberately sought out a kid like me to use as a prop for their youtube channel. a fucking prop.
