100% attendance policy means you can't miss classes for no good reason, such as "i didn't want to come to class" "it's my cat's wedding" "i'm going on holiday"

if you have a reason for why you literally cannot make it to class at no fault of your own ofc that's allowed

compare this with 80% attendance policy for example where you can miss 2-3 classes without having to give an explanation and still pass the course
