It really depends i think, but what I've understood is that engagement rings usually has a diamond (or more) and the wedding ring is ''just'' the golden band. But I think people these days opt for just one ring and usually one without a diamond.

I personally would like both an engagement ring and the wedding ring. One with a diamond and one without. But I get what I get and what matters is that I'm with a person I love :d

yeah i don't care too much about if it's a real diamond (but the gesture would be fucking cool), but i would like a stone on the engagement ring, and just a normal golden ring as the wedding ring i think (like disintegration talked about)
