for me its just been ingrained in my mind that ramadhan is for fasting and prayer and being grateful for what you have and then I cant just not fast? cause then I feel like an asshole

Oh, well it's very different for me, only my mum and I fast in my family. My mum's family is religious though so they all fast.

that sucks, and yeah def better to be fewer ppl and not get sick. Esp if you need to get to the parents. In order to get to my bfs famility is by flight, bus or/and boat and it's just a no-no this year (like, we could but it's bad idea). Many years to celebrate xmas or any other cultural celebration. 

Kinda enjoy christmas mostly as coping mechanism and something to ''look forward to'' for the extreme dark days during winter here up north. asdf
