Same, i found that switching flavors up sometimes helps for some reason? Like for a few weeks i will only drink flavor x by rockstar, then flavor y by monster and so on

I really don't know, I tried to "oversaturate" myself with music and stuff so I can finish, last time I did it I finished 2 assignments listening to Beethoven, I also heard that listening to the Mario karts music helps a lot of people with ADHD to focus, sounds fun and makes sense, I wouldn't recommend listening to your favorite music bc then you vibe too hard and can't focus. Other than that I drink a lot of coffee and water, and sometimes I take breaks where I just sit and do nothing while putting my ideas in order.

i get distracted by literally everything so i dont listen to music usually bc its just a distraction clouding my mind from being able to think clearly. but rn i found some veeery chill jazz and that's actually helping

I take some ritalin to help me get going, and then once ive gotten into it i get hyperfocused for a while. I dont know how i would be able to do it unmedicated tbh. But the times where i dont get into that hyperfocused space i struggle with it and i have to do it in short spurts with lots of breaks like every 10 minutes. I also need like a list with very clear instructions like a guideline on what i need to do like “this needs to be first, after that u need to do this, then u do this” etc cuz structure is like a foreign concept to my brain so i need some extra help with that. I just ask the teacher to write down a list/guide on how to structure it and they always happily do that and offer me extra tips and little follow ups during the process.

like my biggest advice is to just ask the teacher for the extra help needed even tho i know a lot of us adhd bitches hate to ask for help, its honestly a life saver. The teacher cant refuse it anyways cuz its within our medical rights to get extra help

also if you indeed try pomodoro, during your 5min break step away from the pc instead of looking at vp, etc.

caffeine and the pressure that i have to get good grades lol idk how my brain works, helps that im interested in most subjects i have but that doesnt help anyone but me but the break stuff too and i usually start work long before its due so i have time to take many breaks

I take ritalin, which really helps me, but everyone is different.
I would recommend working for 15 min, then take a 5 min break, then work for 15 and give urself rewards. That helps me sometimes, but everyday is different.
