What ?. Hot water has more bacteria than cold, theres a reason ur told not to drink hot water from the tap
or what do u mean
I have never heard that before, why would it have that lol? By hot I mean scorching hot, not luke warm.
i dont think it works unless the water is at a boiling temperature

Hot water tank can grow dangerous bacteria cus it holds between a certain temp that doesn't kill bacteria nor slow it down, its like a bacteria breeding ground, except if u got those boiling water taps
The hot water tanks in our house go up to 90°C and we have to send in water for testing every 2 years, How would there be bacteria? I meant the bacteria on the toothbrush bc it goes in your dirty mouth

Legionella bacteria, depends what u keep ur hot water tank at but I think generally 80C+ is fine, tho most ppl keep it way below that I think

Yeah, the house I'm currently living in is kinda in the middle of nowhere, so it has its own heating system and sewage plant, maybe it's a bit of an outliner, so I have never heard of this issue.

No idk where I learned it but idk, I think msot ppl tend to keep it at 40-60 cus u don't rlly need water warmer than that, n at those heat levels, its rlly good for bacteria growth ig

is that elementary school? Idk, I guess we were never taught this because tap water is generally very safe here, I have never heard of someone getting legionella from tap water.

No its culinary school, and we don't get salmonella either cus thats not the bacteria that grows in water tanks lol, I have never heard of anyone getting sick either but its cus either they keep their water heater at higher temps, or they drink cold water, or boil their hot water before using. Also not every water tank has them obv, but it can b dangerous still and its not a good idea ever to use hot water from the tap honestly
