LOOOOL this omg

it really does
i went to the hosp etc about me having problems with my tummy ( couldnt eat id feel so bad i cudnt get out of bed and almost passed out ) + problems with headache and dizziness for a long time a lot of time

and they didnt say a thing to me apart from how weird it was and then when i checked my journal they wrote that its because of my period. and they didn't even care enough to take tests.
swedish healthcare is taxfunded but that means public healthcare and public healthcare means that the quality is watered out so visits are like 15min max and ur not allowed to bring up more than 1 issue, ur main issue gets shat on anyway because they dont care, nor listen, or believe you

trash
indeed

I went to my dr about migraine aura and his notes after the meeting said "reassured"
needless to say he just told me that I don't have migraine aura and suggested that I get an eye test and that was it

i know y'all think i should keep trying to get help but i'm drained my dudes
i've been losing my hair for abt 6 months now and had to see doctors who's not capable of making a diagnosis so many times.

first doctor told me to get a medicine meant for inherited hairloss that you shouldn't take unless it's an issue within the family. i asked him if maybe his diagnosis was wrong considering my hairloss isn't inherited and suggested it might be alopecia, in which he asked me what alopecia was. after letting him know that it was an autoimmune disease caused by different factors he told me that i shouldn't come there and pretend i was a doctor because he knew what he was doing!!!! he had actually finished med school!!!!!! MIND YOU i am the kindest person i know i literally did not get demeaning or anything

i then switched health centre and they let me know the first doctor i had, was wrong about the medicine and also that my hair loss most likely is alopecia/telogen effluvium unless i found another reason for it. then last week i noticed scabs and eczema around my hairline so i called an online doctor and he told me to get it checked up because it might cause hair loss as well, hence is why i visited the doctor today (and she told me it's fine!!! i haven't even lost any hair!!! even though my scalp scans from second doctor said i lost a significant amount of hair)

i don't know man i think i'll just stick to the first diagnosis and pray that i'll stop losing hair

i suggest that when you are on these visits you need to step up your game, there is NO use in being polite, it gets you literally nowehere, everytime ive been at the doc i have literally done my own research and told me to prescribe shit even if they didnt know whatever the fuck it was, it helped me immensely especially with eczema

docs prescribed me steroids and never ever suggested takrolimus which doesnt thin out your skin, dumbfucks, most of them dont know a lot of alternatives to medicine and just go for the easiest diagnosis, so go back and tell them that you want a diagnosis and its your 4th visit regarding the same issue, be hard on the matter cus 6 months of continous hair loss is not something normal and you shouldnt settle

the thing is. i did get a diagnosis kind of, it was a "if nothing happens to u, u for sure have this ___" and since the last doctor didn't find anything i'm just over it, unless i dramatically lose it all or something i'll just wait it out i think

ohh yeah i did end up switching to an entire new health centre, he was totally a narcissist. my doctor in the new health centre did really help me and was the one to give me the diagnosis. he was really kind and made sure to take all kinds of tests. but now i had to switch again because i moved cities. i'm sorry this story is so complicated hehe but yeah my new health centre is where the lady told me she doesn't know what the fuck my diagnosis mean lol

oh, sorry totally missed that part... i'm tired hehe

it must be tiring for you, going to new places and have to say all things all over again for them to just say  "idk"
but same question again, can you change the lady?? or health center? maybe there is a private one?

 hahah no it's fine

it is really tiring just because it's become such an emotional topic for me and i just want to figure it out
i think i'll wait it out, if something more happens i'll definitely tell them i want to talk to someone else. this is actually a private health centre, i know a lot of people prefer them so i think i might've gotten a bad doc lol
