so this thread is more about sexism than ur own gender?? aight, then don't say u wanna be a dude, 'cause that can come across transphobic
if anyone want to look at this as transphobic, that's up to them and i'm really sorry if i offend anyone, but i'm not gonna change my statement

yeah, i wish i was a man cos life'd be much easier that way
everything would be better for me personally that way
but i am a woman and i can't just turn into a man, you know? because it's not about that

i have to be able to say that
i have to be able to point out in those words that society fucking sucks for women

it has nothing to do with transphobia

Well, there are aspects to being a woman that does suck but I'd never wish to be a man.
Like yeah, dealing with the bad blood every month to pregnancy (which is incredibly scary) to woman just hating each other (at I can say this from my experience, most chicks I've met in my life aren't really nice even I used to follow in their steps to some extent when I was younger and angry difference I was a shit talker behind peoples backs).
ah

i mean personally my problems with being a woman is the expectations that come with it
as a child i was always expected to act more mature than my male counterparts, for example, and when i'm somewhere with people i'm expected to act in a "feminine" way and maybe not take up as much of the social space as a man would
and in order to be considered good or ok looking i have to wear rly uncomfortable clothes and makeup??? yeah i don't do that anyway so it's probably not that much of a problem

what i want to say is that i act one way and people think i'm weird or i'm wrong for it but when i look at all my male friends they act the exact same way and that's considered normal
this is why i don't have girlfriends
i'm not good at being a woman
Gosh, this is so fucking relatable. My mom always gave me shit here and there for doing things that were "unladylike" to not having much girlfriends myself (unless they were real chill or tomboys themselves) since most of the girls thought I was weird for my tomboyish qualities. I was basically the Meg Griffin of my school or what you'd call one of the guys. Well, I'm sorry you feel that way and had to deal with that since it really sucks. It's mostly our society at fault for this, gender roles can honestly fry to a crisp in hell.
that's the thing
why the hell are we never getting rid of them??

sure, i can keep acting like a man all the fuck i want, right? and i can wear huge t-shirts and skip the bra because it's uncomfortable and all that - it's not illegal, i know
the thing is that if i do that i'll be considered undesirable by society at large, and it shouldn't fucking be that way

Honestly I don't know at this point....
It's disheartening. But, if we get to live on this Earth once, then I think it's only fair to live how you want as long as you ain't harming anyone in the process. It's hard I know at times cause people can be so judgemental but honestly fuck them their words/judgements aren't worth anything and we shouldn't let them eat away our self worth. Plus, we all eventually find our own crowd where it makes things more easier and easier to mute these people out. Self love helps also of course.

That's good considering it isn't always the easier thing to find.
