but also an outsider perspective is needed as well.
to return to the op, ppl who don't have empathy or even sympathy for the ones in rehab and wards, shouldn't be in there in the first place. it's such at odds w the entire idea of caregiving and facility guidance.
i know some just want to "observe" the crazy at first hand, but treating mentally ill ppl and drug addicts as zoo animals, isn't helping anyone.
