I don't know if the right word for it is sensitive I feel like the word exaggerated is more suitable but of course it really depends on the situation and what has happened in the past really.

I also have a question for everyone: Do you see any connections between the Karens and the cancelling culture?

nope, because it's usually women who gets cancelled faster and harder than men ever do.
a woman can say one slightly bad thing, while a man can be a literal predator, but she's still the one that gets cancelled while the man often time celebrated.

and the whole "karen" thing was about black women being fed up with older white women. so the correlation is simply lost on me.

i feel like theres a lot of people that are too sensitive as a result of cancel culture, theres a lot that i see in for example the body positive (or rather fat positive) community where people wanting to lose weight is already seen as a "trigger"
its good that we've become more and more aware of stuff like triggers but there are people that need to grow a thicker skin just in order to cope with everyday life? if someone wanting to lose weight or losing weight triggers you it shouldnt be their responsiblity to not post content like this it should be yours to either get over it and/or block posts like that until you can cope with it
yk   and theres stuff like that in multiple areas, it feels like theres a lot of cases where people choose to be offended to play it up and feel morally superior instead of just you know   living their lifes
Yeah the haes part of body positivity has gona off the rails

i do think ppl are overly critical and have way too high standards for what is acceptable, but i dont think ive actually seen anyone be "cancelled" for reasons i disagreed with?
