90% of pulling shit off is being confident.
to elaborate: people dont stop in their tracks n stare in awe because someone is wearing a super trendy outfit. they get lost in the crowd of ppl w no personality n no confidence.

are there any recent trends you have found interesting? doesnt have to be current, but from like the last two years. oh, and remember there are more pants in the world than skinny jeans and mum jeans.
I feel like I could pull of a chunky sweater or something, I just need to find the right one lol, and those knitted wests are kinda cute

trondheim er fiiin by.

tbh ive formulated a style im very comfortable in so that im not tempted to jump on micro trends. ts expensive, its not sustainable n it very often suits only the few. it slowly evolved over time, and its not before now that im 22 that i actually can confidentally predict if ill use a piece of clothing if i buy it

Jaa superfint her, stortrives så langt!! Tise er definitivt et godt alternativ! Må lære meg å bruke den appen oftere

I'm turning 22 in June so maybe it will finally kick in for me then how to dress and where to buy stuff lol

oo aa ive only been to trondheim twice so im not up to date on the thrift stores there, but i know u have at least two fretexer
one in rosenborg gate and the other in fjordgata
ive only been to the one in fjordgata, they had a decent amnt of clothing but i would assume the other one has even more up to date items, cause thats one is closer to bakklandet and from what i could tell, bakklandet is more like.. trendy n not just middle of centrum tourism location, uknow?
anyhow, fretex does have a lot of clothes yes
albeit very varierende, some have a GOOD selection, others just have grandmas old clothes but not the trendy ones LOL

i also know theres some vintage stores there? vintage stores always have a better selection than thrift store, because they curate and hand pick each item then wanna sell. thus the price is a bit more expensive
Livid is a nice vintage store, and i think a new one opened this year? Arven? could also be worth checking out
Theres also an Uff store in nordre gate. Uff usually has some really nice pieces as well, although idk what time period that uff store focuses on, or if they even operate like that. In oslo at least, the different uff stores sell pieces from specific time periods lol

other than thrift n vintage stores id just recommend checking out tise i guess

Yeah I know where that is! Thanks for amazing tips! I will definetly try to use thriftshops more often, I feel like H&M, gina tricot and Bik Bok carry sooo much of the same, boring stuff...
Tise is also a very good option

Love the bunad btw

I like to browse pinterest every now and then and save outfits I like
and then figure out Why I like them and what pieces especially
one pretty good advice to know is to have the outfit base built out of basics, neutral colours and pieces, and then spice it up with a statement piece or two

And like others have said, confidence is the key!!
I know the stick figure figure, I’m 185cm tall girl shaped like a stick as well lmao
but you can wear whatever you want, I’m sure you’re gorgeous
