Oh, wow thanks so much. I've watched bits of the anime adaptation of Vampire Knight but never got fully into it, I'm considering actually considering watching the series again. Though I wonder if the manga is better than the anime version. I've watched more of Seraph no End and never finished it, but I can tell you this; it's pretty good so go for it. Hellsing from the bit I've seen of it already looks freaking amazing, and I've been curious about Vampire Hunter D forever lol (especially love the art style of it so much). Never heard of the others you've mentioned but they sound really interesting, can't thank you enough for sharing all of this ^_^ <3
honestly i think the manga is usually better because like i mean, the manga of vampire knight is i 18 or 19 books and the anime is like 16 episodes or something... like HOW MUCH do you have to cut out to make it that short?!? and that is the usual pattern for manga to anime, like one book  for one or less episodes and they have enough information for like 2 or 3 episodes
Hm, think I take your advice then. Read the manga first then anime later on.
Happens with books as well when being adapted to films/series. Quite annoying especially when it's important parts that add to the story/characters progression.

The Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy) by Deborah Harkness - Its a trilogy of books, but there is also a series, but I really enjoyed more the books, I'm not sure if the second season already launched.
So the books are really slow, I dont consider this a negative aspect I really like the development of the story, but maybe this doesn't works for everyone. The first season its not so long, but I think some aspects of the book are not reeally well adapted, even I love Matthew's actor.

Hellsing (manga is also really good) there is also 2 anime series: Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate, as far I kown the second onehave  a better quality to watch the whole series, but the first launched anime is not bad just have a old quality of video

Thanks ^^
Stories that go at a slow pace are generally the best anyways. More room for development.

I just watched a Netflix series called Castlevania. I'm not usually into that kind of stuff but my friend recommended it and I really liked it. It's based on a video game and it's about Dracula's plan to kill off all humans after his wife was murdered because they thought she was a witch. It mainly follows Dracula's son and two others in their quest to stop him. There's a lot of magic, vampires, monsters, stuff like that. Also there's 4 seasons and like 30-something episodes total

Demon in My View, Shattered Mirror, and Midnight Predator by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes are supposed to be really good YA vampire novels. I have read other series by the author and she's a great writer. She has a whole universe centered around her characters, I highly recommend her books.
