in a fast food restaurant haha, packing orders usually and it's always manic on fridays and saturdays so +1 for covering a shift for a friend yesterday and him taking mine tomorrow night 😈

being a student is stressful ! not that I am one anymore but you know. what are you studying? sorry if its been asked before, haven't read through the thread 

we've been understaffed for months so honestly it's better than it used to be now we've got new starters even tho we've still got issues with it
couple of my closest coworkers who work 40-50 hours a week are both leaving too so mby it'll do a backslide but here's hoping not !

oh that sounds like a tricky situation, has your workplace and staff been affected by covid ? here in sweden we had lots of problems with stores and companies firing a lot of people and/or closing down completely - and we never had a proper lockdown either :0

I've been there nearly a year now and really it's just been a case of slowly losing people to maternity leave or different jobs etc. so I'm hoping at least a few of the new starters are good workers who plan to stay

very understandable! since i moved towns to study i don't see my mother or sister very often, and due to covid i couldn't see them for almost a year, spent some time there after my birthday in may and that was magical. i hope to visit them again for christmas when i've hopefully saved up some money - and for my dad, he lives abroad and we haven't talked since 2017 i think soo hehe

the pandemic rly destroyed plans < / 3 n it sucks not being able to meet loved ones,, although i myself have been lucky,, not much changed rly,, other than having to be careful and wear a mask
