but if y’all have free healthcare
why don’t you go to the doctor?
does it take a while to schedule an
appt to be seen?

as an American who
does pay for healthcare
i know I’d probably be banned
from most medical facilities
because if I sneezed consecutively
for 2 hrs, had a minor cough,
scrape, cut, bruise etc “I’m going to the doctor” lol
all exaggerated but again, free
I wouldn’t be able to resist

why do u youse the enter key so much
why not

If the only symtpm I have anyways is pee that smells, I might as well just try fixing it at home n save myself the money of going to the doctor and meds, when its rlly a non issue. Would imagine u get worse symptoms than that before u get worse issues than bacteria in ur pee

Its not free and also hard to get an appt, at least if ur going to ur gp, I got an appointment w him but it was like in 3 weeks from when I ordered it, n that was his soonest open appt
You guys wait 3 weeks for an appointment with a gp??

Here you get one in like a day if it is something that needs to be treated asap

Scandinavian health care is weird tbh

ER would be a bit of an overkill for a uti but it should be enough to get an appointment with your gp asap.

ER is more like thing that's not serious enough for the hospital, but also can't wait till the day after.

Huh?? ERs are in hospitals and they are for  emergencies, serious stuff, bad accidents, life or death situations.
At least that's how it's here.

thats what a UTI is though. you should not wait a day on a UTI.

its for everything if ur a poor american. if you have money and good private insurance its for that kinda stuff. if you're on shitty government provided healthcare its for everything.

Maybe there's like a translation error on my side but a uti isn't that bad and usually gets better on its own.

They only give you antibiotics in very bad cases.
At least in my experience.

It lasted for like 4 weeks probably n I don't eat any food that makes ur pee smelly (allegedly) so I think it was just a uti, but probably mild? Since that was the only symptom, idk. Never got the hurt when peeing thing or anything like that, but it got fixed by the vitamin c at least

Ah yes, idk i think theoretically we got 2 in DK? We got a doctor in a doctor house (what do you call it?) that you can call outside doctor hours if you need a doctor asap and we got the hospital ER. I guess the first wouldn't count as ER? but yet is kind of like an ER, for things not too serious.
