yes, you should let the thread hang out, this makes it easier to pull out when you need to change it or just take it out

Yes, you absolutely can shower with it, no problem. you can also swim/bathe with it, and even exercise

overnight I would reccomend using pads if possible, rather than tampons (you won't necessairy get a toxic shock, but I think your vajayjay appreciates it if you let it breath from time to time uknow)

Feel free to ask any questions ^^
you can also send me a pm if something seems too embarrasing or personal to post in the threads. but in general, nothing to be embarrased of -it's totally natural and pretty common the world over ♥♥
 Yesss all this
++ one thing more: when it’s in you should not feel it at all
like at all
if it is uncomfortable or you can feel that there is something inside you, it’s usually not deep enough
so push it a bit more

Okay i did it, it is inside but i just *barely* feel it ajfjsjfksk got a pad on too just in case. I pushed it as much as i can, i left it alone when i pushed it all the way in n it couldn't go in more. For now it is very comfy, i barely feel it and not in a uncomfy way, just in a " oh yeah it's in that's ok" way
Thank you for your tips <3

No for me its extremely easy to leak through tampons, even if they are not completely filled, cus the blood kinda slides between the tampon and the wall lol

Yes it doesn't matter, its the clots that go through cus they slide past cus of the ridges in the tampon or whatever

a rule of thumb i follow is whenever i need to use the toilet, i switch the tampon - mostly for hygienic reasons. during the first days a bit more often bc my flow is particularly strong   if u follow these steps and ur flow takes more than 3-4 days, then u will start to notice dryness tho so at that point i'd prolly recommend switching to pads or using moisturizer

it's good to note that i use the most absorbant option available - most people might prefer the lighter ones but i also don't wanna run to the bathroom any more than necessary. imo u can feel when it is getting near the "leaking point", which is when ur brain should go "i must go now". i have only ever experienced leaking after 5+ hours of not changing during first two days into my period. if u sleep with it on then there will likely be at least a little leakage if ur flow is strong, though if u change it before heading to bed the risk is much lower

when i used pads i felt super gross and messy, so i def prefer tampons over them. it took me a couple years of adjusting when i made the switch. it will involve a lot of experimenting as does anything new u try, but in time u will find the option that is the most comfortable and convenient for u

Ok so more questions: why did it relocate itself in me when i coughed for a few times djfjwkakq
Question 2: i push it in as deep as i can but i seem to guide it to the right side so i can kinda feel it on my right side, how do i move it to balance??

also, for the first times I absolutely recommend getting tampons with applicators
they are way easier to handle and you can really get a feeling for how deep the tampon should go in to sit perfectly
(like, I literally don't know how you'd manage to get the tampon in incorrectly when using the applicator as indicated on the text)

also, don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but getting in a slight squattin position or even lying down and hugging your knees to your shoulders helps "opening up" the vaginal canal to put it in properly

it will move around a bit, but honestly, you shouldn't really feel it much after some time
the first hours you will be reminded of it a lot, so the whole thing about not feeling it is mostly not feeling it constantly
you may feel it with some motions (like coughing and sneezing, sometimes even with laughing), that's normal, that can be explained with the same muscle action like people who have mobility induced incontinence

the tampn won't really be more to one side", because let's be real, there's not enough space up there for it to really decide on one side of the room. you may feel it a bit more on one side, but that's probably 50% head related and 50% just because your cervix isn't a 100% straight tunnel, the mucous is not the same everywhere, you might even have just pushed it in a bit to one side and thus gave the nerves some input of "there's something here" even though the tampon itself isn't really that nudged to one side anymore

if u feel it, try angling it a bit differently. most do not have vaginal canals that go straight up, so you might have to switch the direction to get it far enough in. change how u sit or stand, change where u push.
