my theory all along was that the medication is cheaper in itself, not just the price of it, but the production of it is cheaper. and considering it can be a very deadly medication id really appreciate it if norway could give me the expensive one again, i dont think the country's money saving should come from them picking the cheaper kind of poison to feed me

Yeah I would speak with your Dr to be safe. It could be that the new ones aren't strong enough for you if you are having withdrawal symptoms.
Yeah they should be equivalent tho but. I always switch between two different birth control pills when I take them out cus I don't have a preference, and they ARE equivalent (allegedly) but I see one of them works better on some people so they only get that one. Weird

i get brain zaps when i forget to take my lexapro, but i also started cutting my pills to taper off and i went down from 7.5 to 5mg and i started getting baaad brain zaps like all day long it seems to go away when i take my daily dose but idk how long this will last for. tell ur doctor maybe there's something they can do. did you go without the med / is it the same dose?

When you get reccomended a different (often cheaper) medication at the pharmacy it is because they contain the same active substance. The difference lies in production, pill form and filler substance which shouldn't affect the effectiveness of the drug but ofc people can have individual reactions.

You can refuse to change medication at the pharmacy (if the expensive one is the one on your prescription) also but that could mean that you have to travel further to a different pharmacy.

You should take it up with your doctor tho if you suspect you're having bad side effects from this different brand.

i started straight away with the new medication, and i just continued with the exact same dosage as i used on the previous medication, so yes

literal reason why i don't agree when they offer the cheaper ver - have bad experiences
i believe the consistency of the meds are diff enough to mess things up if u suddenly make the switch

Yeah but isn't it free because u have to get the cheapest one or smth, while if u get the one u should have, u only pay the price thats above the price of the one u get for free. Does that make sense. Like if 1 type costs 50, and another one is 150, if u choose the cheapest one u will get it for free, but if u choose the other one its 100

i honestly think the expensive version of the medication im on is way too expensive for me to pay for myself, even if i just paid some of the price

I think u can check, if u log into apotek1.no and go to kjøp reseptvare, and click on the one ur supposed to have, and all the different options for the same meds should be there with the price of them too, so u can see how much more expensive it is. Obv mostly just useful if ur doctor can't change it tho, since it obv doesn't work anyway, but last resort I guess
